Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olrac Recto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brock Lenny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Olrac Recto! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Recto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lenny swats him away and circles back towards the center. Recto avoids the head kick by Lenny.

Lenny moves into range and clinches up with Recto. Recto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lenny is defending well for now. Recto working hard to break the clinch. Recto is trying to pull guard but Lenny turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Recto with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Lenny wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Recto has him pressed against the cage. Recto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Lenny tries to circle away but Recto has him pinned against the cage. Lenny keeps control of Recto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Recto misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The referee is keeping an eye on Lenny - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A frustrated look appears on Lenny's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lenny prevents Recto from breaking the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lenny as Recto tries to tie him up. Lenny has Recto pushed against the cage. Recto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Recto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lenny avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Brock Lenny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olrac Recto. Lenny wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lenny content to slow the pace in the clinch.

A close round but Olrac Recto will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Recto misses the shot to the body. Recto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lenny was well out of range. Poor timing from Recto. Recto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lenny swats him away and circles back towards the center. Recto moves in looking to clinch but Lenny pushes him off. Good work by Recto as he checks the leg kick. Lenny throws a head kick that misses and Recto counters with an inside leg kick. Brock Lenny is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Recto throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lenny's head.
It looks like Brock Lenny has been cut. Recto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lenny needs to keep his hands up - Recto had a free shot at his head there. Lenny has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Recto lands a really nice looking cross but Lenny seems unphased.
Recto thuds a left hand into Lenny's body. Olrac Recto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Recto gets tackled into the cage by Lenny. Lenny maintains the clinch. Recto misses with a short punch on the inside. Recto tries to land knees in the clinch but Lenny avoids the damage to the body.

A frustrated look appears on Recto's face as he tries to break the clinch. Recto is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lenny gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Recto tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Recto is trying to maintain a safe position but Lenny gets an underhook and turns Recto into the cage. Recto can't break the clinch.
Olrac Recto seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Lenny working hard to break the clinch. Recto with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Lenny manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Recto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lenny walks away with a smile on his face. Recto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Brock Lenny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olrac Recto. Lenny avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lenny will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Recto tries to break free but Lenny pushes him back against the cage. Recto trying to control the position but instead, Lenny has worked for underhooks and has pushed Recto into the cage. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Recto using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lenny has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Recto misses with a knee strike.
Recto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lenny's efforts to push away. Recto tries to circle away but Lenny has him pinned against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Olrac Recto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brock Lenny's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Olrac Recto. Well Recto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
