Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fry has chosen Rain - Trivium as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ultimate Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Fry! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fry circles away from the clinch attempt and Fry counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fry. Warrior is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fry is controlling him. Fry forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fry trying to pass the guard but Warrior defending well. Fry works his way into side control. Warrior wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Warrior is trying to control Fry's posture but Fry avoids it. Warrior prevents Fry from improving position. Warrior on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fry is looking to take a break and control but Warrior is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fry lands a few punches from side control. Warrior could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Fry working the ground and pound. Fry is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Warrior is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Warrior wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fry trying to control the action but Warrior is working from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Warrior wants to get back to his feet. Warrior stops Fry from passing to mount. Warrior gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Fry scoring with strikes but Warrior is staying in there. Fry working for a submission but Warrior is keeping him at bay. Fry looks gassed! Warrior tries to lock up and control but Fry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fry lands a heavy elbow. Fry landing strikes, looking to finish! Warrior sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Warrior has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fry is working away from the top position though. Fry moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warrior is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fry connects with a decent elbow. Fry scoring with punches and elbows. Fry lands a few punches from side control. Fry working the ground and pound from side control. Fry grinds an elbow into Warrior's temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fry working the ground and pound. Fry landing strikes. Fry lands a nice forearm strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior is trying to improve his position. Fry passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Warrior! Fry unloading with bombs! BOOM! Fry connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fry postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Warrior looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Warrior takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Fry dominated that round. That's time! Warrior's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Warrior gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fry to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fry gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Warrior throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fry's waist but Fry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Warrior off to one side. Cody Fry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Warrior closes the distance but Fry moves to the side and Fry moves into the clinch. Fry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A momentary lapse in concentration from Warrior enables Fry to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Warrior manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Warrior might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fry tries to free his leg and advance position but Warrior is retaining full guard. Fry wants to control from the top but Warrior keeps moving. Fry wants to pass the guard but Warrior is keeping the position. Fry is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Warrior trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fry works a leg free and moves into half guard. Warrior is looking for a sweep. Fry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fry tries to pass to full mount but Warrior defends it. Warrior wants to get back to his feet. Warrior is looking to control Fry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Warrior avoid being mounted? The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fry is working for a submission of some sort.
Warrior is looking to escape. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warrior has hold of Fry's hands but Fry slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Warrior wants to get back to his feet.

Warrior tries to reverse the position but Fry maintains control. Fry controlling the position easily from mount. Fry looking to finish Warrior with some ground and pound. This is bad for Warrior! Warrior is trying to improve his position. The referee asks Fry politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fry prefers to stall for the moment though. Warrior is desperately trying to improve his position but Fry has a good base and remains in mount. Fry breaks from Warrior's wrist control and lands an elbow. Fry lands a heavy elbow. Cody Fry is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Warrior is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior wants to control but Fry is having none of it. Fry looking to control and managing it successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cody Fry. Warrior is looking to clinch but Fry is avoiding it.
Fry has been the more effective fighter overall so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Warrior fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ultimate Warrior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Warrior gets caught flat footed, as Fry shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Cody Fry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Cody Fry! Cody Fry decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
