The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astley fails with the takedown.

Coleman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Astley sprawls well initially but Coleman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Coleman is trying to work for a kimura but Astley is defending well.

Coleman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Astley has picked Coleman up and slammed him! Coleman can't keep hold of the triangle and Astley manages to pass to side control!

Astley tries to score with some ground and pound. Coleman controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Astley is trying to get an arm triangle but Coleman is defending well.

Coleman wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Astley goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Coleman has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Astley but great work by Coleman.

Astley wants to control the action here but instead Coleman manages to pass to full mount!

Coleman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Coleman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Coleman is trying to ground and pound but Astley uses the momentary lack of control by Coleman to regain half guard.

Astley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Coleman fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Well Coleman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
