Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Royal McNamera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renata Sobrawl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McNamera comes to the cage accompanied by A cat flushing a toilet. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Royal McNamera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renata Sobrawl! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNamera is looking to clinch but Sobrawl is avoiding it.
Sobrawl keeps the fight on the outside. McNamera fails with an attempt to clinch.
McNamera moves in looking to clinch but Sobrawl pushes him off. McNamera tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sobrawl swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sobrawl dodges the punch combination from McNamera.
Royal McNamera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McNamera tries to clinch up but Sobrawl circles away and keeps his distance. McNamera throws a solid leg kick but Sobrawl takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McNamera. McNamera fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sobrawl keeps the fight on the outside. Sobrawl shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sobrawl is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sobrawl prevents McNamera from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sobrawl is looking for a kimura here.
Sobrawl works his way into side control. Sobrawl is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McNamera has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McNamera is not content to let Sobrawl control the position. Sobrawl taking a break here but McNamera is having none of it and regains half guard. Sobrawl is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sobrawl uses his free foot to push down on McNamera's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McNamera. McNamera prevents Sobrawl from taking his back. Sobrawl wants to take his opponent's back but instead McNamera manages to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McNamera looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sobrawl working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on McNamera's thigh. McNamera counters though and makes it back to full guard. Sobrawl postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McNamera is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sobrawl, into his guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sobrawl trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renata Sobrawl dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McNamera is looking to clinch. Sobrawl circles away from the clinch attempt.
McNamera stuffs the takedown attempt from Sobrawl. Sobrawl gets slowly back to his feet. McNamera gets in close and instigates a clinch. McNamera crunches a lovely knee into Sobrawl's ribcage. McNamera lands a nice elbow. Sobrawl is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McNamera pulls him back up using the underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sobrawl fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Royal McNamera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renata Sobrawl. McNamera comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. McNamera tries a knee to the head but Sobrawl blocks it.
McNamera will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sobrawl up against the cage. McNamera lands an elbow inside. McNamera prevents the takedown attempt.
McNamera gets underhooks to prevent Sobrawl's takedown attempt.
McNamera landing knees to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sobrawl blocks the elbow strike.
Sobrawl is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McNamera pulls him back up using the underhooks. McNamera lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Sobrawl is rocked! McNamera has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Sobrawl - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from McNamera, and another! Sobrawl is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Royal McNamera!
