Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pietro Falasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Rubens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falasco comes to the cage accompanied by Se lento ancora il fulmine . Walter Rubens told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubens tries to bum rush Falasco with a series of wild strikes but Falasco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rubens throws a looping overhand right but Falasco ducks down to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as Falasco checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Rubens throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Rubens counters with a nice low kick that buckles Falasco's knee momentarily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rubens lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Falasco has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Falasco and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
