8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Osobo Opasen! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marie II throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Opasen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Osobo Opasen has been cut. Marie II fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Marie II defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Opasen. Osobo Opasen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marie II tries to sprawl but Opasen drives through with a takedown into half guard. Opasen is looking for a kimura here.

Marie II throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Opasen's body to avoid the submission. Opasen has instead reached around Marie II's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Opasen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
