Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Burnett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tze Tze! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tze throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Robert Burnett has been cut. Burnett lands a slapping body shot.
Tze throws a lazy uppercut
and Burnett counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burnett moves out of range as Tze strikes. The fighters circle momentarily. Burnett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Burnett moves out of range as Tze strikes. Tze moves out of range of the strikes. Burnett thuds a left hand into Tze's body. Burnett throws out a powerful jab. Burnett moves away from the strike by Tze. Tze fails with an attempt to clinch.
Burnett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tze misses with a looping left. Tze throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Burnett counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Tze throws a jab but it's blocked by Burnett. Burnett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tze was well out of range. Poor timing from Burnett.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tze misses with a left hand and Burnett counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Tze looks gassed! Tze throws an off balance right hand
letting Burnett counter with a right hand. Tze tries to keep at a distance but Burnett has taken the fight into the clinch. Burnett can't find room to land a body shot as Tze controls the action.
Burnett slowing the pace effectively. Burnett presses Tze against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Tze misses with the head strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Burnett prevents a body shot from Tze. Tze struggles to land a body shot inside as Burnett controls his hands.
Burnett is stalling here.
Burnett digs a right hand into Tze's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Tze's gas tank.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tze misses with some punches.
Tze pushes Burnett back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Tze tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tze takes one to the side of the head.
Burnett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tze stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Burnett closes the distance and pushes Tze back into the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Burnett.
Burnett tries a body shot but Tze blocks it.

Burnett lands a body shot. A head punch blocked on the inside by Burnett. Burnett misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Burnett - that landed with a thud.
Burnett is pushing Tze up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Burnett for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Robert Burnett. Tze throws a jab when Burnett was well out of range. Tze throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tze Tze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tze misses with a wild combination.
Tze misses with a right hand and Burnett counters with a nice body shot. Tze takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Burnett works Tze's body with a nice hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Burnett scores with a shot to the body.
Burnett scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Tze Tze has been cut. Tze drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Burnett cracks Tze with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tze looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Burnett finish him?
Burnett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tze walks straight into a right hand from Burnett - that's dropped him! Burnett jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tze from any more punishment! Tze complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Robert Burnett!
