Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Broderick Czosek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Lagerfeldt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Lagerfeldt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lagerfeldt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Czosek avoids it really well and circles away.
Czosek avoids a kick to the body.
Czosek shoots for a takedown but Lagerfeldt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lagerfeldt shoots for a double leg takedown but Czosek sprawls well. He's pushed Lagerfeldt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Czosek swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lagerfeldt tries to clinch there but Czosek circles away.
Lagerfeldt lands a big right hand that sends Czosek crashing to the mat! Lagerfeldt stays standing though and waves Czosek back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lagerfeldt can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Czosek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lagerfeldt doesn't manage to clinch there - Czosek circles away.
Lagerfeldt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Czosek as he jumps to the side.
Czosek shoots in looking for a takedown but Lagerfeldt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Czosek's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

No luck for Lagerfeldt with that takedown attempt.
Lagerfeldt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Czosek tries to avoid it but Lagerfeldt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Czosek to the ground. Czosek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lagerfeldt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Czosek manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lagerfeldt's best efforts.
Czosek has one foot on Lagerfeldt's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Czosek tried to score with a low kick but Lagerfeldt checks it.
Czosek really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

so Czosek counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Lagerfeldt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Czosek slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Czosek takes a little break here. Lagerfeldt wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Czosek has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lagerfeldt looks to land a right hand but Czosek moved out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lagerfeldt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown by Czosek or perhaps it was just good defense by Lagerfeldt which made him look bad.
Broderick Czosek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lagerfeldt throws a right and a left that Czosek avoids nicely.
Lagerfeldt tries a head kick but it misses.
Lagerfeldt shoots in but no luck this time.
Czosek misses with a takedown attempt - Lagerfeldt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lagerfeldt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Czosek is squirming around, avoiding Lagerfeldt's attempts to control the action.
Lagerfeldt goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Czosek turns into him and now he's in Lagerfeldt's guard.

Lagerfeldt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Czosek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Czosek manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Czosek gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Czosek finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Lagerfeldt slaps away a takedown attempt from Czosek, before circling back to the center of the mat.

You can see the frustration on Lagerfeldt's face as Czosek controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Carl Lagerfeldt.
I think Lagerfeldt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
