Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oregon Gangsta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Jones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Gangsta tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gangsta works his way to full guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.


It looks like Oregon Gangsta has been cut.

Gangsta is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Gangsta isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Gangsta on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Gangsta is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.
Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jones is keen to just control but Gangsta is a slippery customer.
Gangsta pushes Jones off looking to stand but Jones dives back in and keeps control.

Gangsta kicks Jones off and gets back to his feet.

Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
Good exchange - Jones coming out on top.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gangsta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jones misses with a head kick.
Gangsta takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Gangsta gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Gangsta manages to retain guard.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gangsta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Gangsta's legs - danger averted.

Gangsta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gangsta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Gangsta looks to move to half guard but instead Jones has passed into mount! Damn!

Jones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.


Oregon Gangsta's cut is getting worse.
Jones postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Gangsta out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Jones goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Walter Jones!
