Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buster Joncs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hans Einshamer! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Joncs crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Einshamer - the referee stops the clock and Joncs gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Einshamer. Joncs manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Joncs tries for a takedown but Einshamer circles away easily and Einshamer counters with a nice double leg into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Joncs is pulling down on Einshamer's head. It's preventing any offense from Einshamer, at least for the moment. Einshamer's corner is telling him to maintain position. Joncs tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Einshamer stands up from guard. Let's bang! Einshamer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Joncs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Joncs tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Einshamer prevents Joncs from standing back up.
Joncs might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Einshamer decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Joncs with a poor takedown and Einshamer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joncs's guard. Einshamer wants to pass the guard but Joncs is keeping the position. Einshamer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Joncs is breathing heavily. Joncs shoots for a double leg takedown but Einshamer sprawls well. He's pushed Joncs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buster Joncs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joncs gets caught flat footed, as Einshamer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Einshamer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Einshamer shoots in and bounces Joncs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Joncs keeping moving, preventing Einshamer from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joncs controls Einshamer momentarily but Einshamer frees himself. Einshamer wants to control from the top but Joncs keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joncs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Einshamer! Einshamer is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Joncs working for a guillotine from mount but Einshamer is in no mood to give up. Joncs moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Einshamer has worked his arm free - good work by Einshamer!
Einshamer tries to bench press Joncs off him but Joncs keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joncs moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Einshamer manages to work his way to half guard, despite Joncs's best efforts. Joncs is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Einshamer wants to control but Joncs is having none of it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Joncs looking to control but Einshamer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hans Einshamer dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Joncs shoots in for a double leg but Einshamer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Buster Joncs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Joncs shoots for a double leg takedown but Einshamer sprawls well. He's pushed Joncs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Joncs tries to clinch there but Einshamer circles away.
Joncs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Einshamer pinned against the cage. Einshamer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's one minute gone in the round. Einshamer trying to control the action but Joncs is working from the bottom. Einshamer controlling the pace. Einshamer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Einshamer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Einshamer wants to take a breather but Joncs is having none of it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hans Einshamer wasn't active enough on the ground. Einshamer shoots in looking for a takedown. Joncs tries to sprawl out of it but Einshamer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Joncs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Joncs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Einshamer avoids it really well and circles away. Joncs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Einshamer swivels and escapes. Einshamer forces Joncs back against the cage and clinches. Einshamer manages to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Joncs wants to clinch and Einshamer counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Joncs moves out of range of the body kick. Einshamer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Joncs is trying to break free. Joncs keeps control of Einshamer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Einshamer tries to break the clinch but Joncs is controlling the position. Joncs works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Joncs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Einshamer on the ground. Einshamer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Joncs trying to control but Einshamer is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joncs tries to free his leg and advance position but Einshamer is retaining full guard. Einshamer pulls Joncs in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Buster Joncs. Joncs tries to clinch up but Einshamer circles away and keeps his distance. Joncs takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Einshamer rushes Joncs and presses him up against the cage. Joncs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Einshamer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joncs's waist but Joncs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Einshamer off to one side. Joncs drives through with a takedown into Einshamer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Einshamer working a defensive guard here.

Hans Einshamer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Nice takedown defense from Einshamer. No joy for Joncs on that attempt. Joncs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Einshamer defends it nicely. Joncs tries to clinch there but Einshamer circles away.
Einshamer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Joncs counters with a nice double leg into guard. Einshamer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Einshamer wants to sweep here but Joncs controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joncs looking to sit in guard and control but Einshamer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Einshamer wanted to stand there but Joncs had control of the position. Einshamer postures up.
Einshamer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joncs swivels though and keeps the full guard. Einshamer wants to control from the top but Joncs keeps moving. Einshamer stopping the sweep attempt from Joncs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joncs controlling Einshamer's posture.
Buster Joncs has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Einshamer tries for a takedown but Joncs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Einshamer shoots in for a double leg but Joncs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Buster Joncs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Einshamer. Joncs fails to land the takedown. Einshamer moves into the clinch successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joncs tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Einshamer just stands there and leans against the cage. Joncs looking for a takedown. Einshamer is trying to force a seperation but Joncs has the dominant position. Einshamer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Einshamer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hans Einshamer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Joncs tries to clinch up but Einshamer circles away and keeps his distance. Einshamer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joncs sprawls well. Joncs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Einshamer gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Joncs is defended easily by Einshamer. Joncs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Einshamer but Einshamer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joncs shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Einshamer counters with a shoot takedown. Joncs fights it but they end up in guard. Einshamer is stalling in the full guard. Joncs looking to control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Einshamer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Einshamer wants to control from the top but Joncs keeps moving. Buster Joncs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hans Einshamer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hans Einshamer wasn't active enough on the ground. Einshamer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Hans Einshamer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Einshamer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
