The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios stuns Hardwick with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hardwick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rios manages to avoid it.
Rios instigates a clinch.
Rios swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rios tries to work over Hardwick's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rios lands a shoulder strike.
Rios misses with a punch to the body.
Rios is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Hardwick is trying to drag Rios to the mat but Rios just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hardwick wants a takedown.
Jesus Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Hardwick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rios gets through Hardwick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Rios works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Rios lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hardwick backwards.
Rios digs a right hand underneath Hardwick's ribcage. Hardwick let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rios lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Rios throws a big uppercut that drops Hardwick! More strikes from Rios and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hardwick lies dazed against the cage as Rios celebrates with his cornermen!
