4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ultimate Brutality! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brutality displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salace. Brutality scores a takedown into full mount! Salace tries to hold on but Brutality postures up. Salace is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Brutality trying to control but Salace is having none of it. Salace tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salace slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Salace keeping control of the position. Brutality throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salace wants to get back to full guard. Salace makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Brutality is looking for a takedown here. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Salace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brutality closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Salace managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brutality.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salace struggling a bit here. Salace regains half guard. Salace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Salace is looking to control Brutality's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salace avoid being mounted? Salace is concentrating on defense, preventing Brutality from advancing position. Salace tries to roll over but Brutality keeps him under control. Brutality is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Salace is just riding it out for now. Brutality eventually gives up the hold. Brutality is taking a breather. Salace says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brutality tries to stand and escape but Salace is controlling the position. Salace gets back to full guard.
Brutality got a little sloppy there for a moment and Salace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brutality has managed to get both his arms back between Salace's legs - danger averted. Brutality tries to free his leg and advance position but Salace is retaining full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brutality has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Salace is proving hard to escape from. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Salace lands a decent shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No, Brutality has escaped the position, nice work there. Salace thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brutality wants to control but Salace postures up. Salace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Salace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brutality is letting Salace control him for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salace is looking to take a break and control but Brutality is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Salace is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brutality has escaped the position, nice work there. Brutality is not content to let Salace control the position. Salace wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brutality, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brutality tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Salace wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Salace landing strikes. Brutality struggling a bit here. Salace is working Brutality over with some ground and pound from side control. Salace working the body and head with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brutality wants to control but Salace postures up. Salace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brutality knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Salace lands some shots froms side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Salace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salace showed some decent athleticism there. Salace drops an elbow to the side of Brutality's head. Salace stops Brutality from getting back to his feet.
Salace is working for a submission of some sort.
Brutality has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Salace is working away from the top position though. Salace landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Salace is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brutality defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brutality is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Salace moves into full mount! Brutality won't be happy about that! Salace is landing with some decent strikes but Brutality is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Brutality is rocked! Salace unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Brutality wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Salace celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Salace! After winning the bout, Simon Salace thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
