Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sylar Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray comes into the arena with Saving me blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gray takes one to the chin there.
Gray looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Gray takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.
Gray misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Gray throws a lazy uppercut
and Black counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gray thinking.
Black fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gray throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.
Black lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gray throws a left and a right that both miss
and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gray misses with an uppercut

Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gray pinned against the cage. Gray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gray manages to avoid it.

Gray takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Black connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice shot lands for Black.

Gray on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Black throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gray throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it.
Black tests Gray's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Black scores with a jab. Gray acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Gray looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Black keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gray gets caught napping as Black dives in and scores a takedown. Gray manages to retain guard.

Big Black has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Black cracks Gray with a right hand to the side of the head.

Gray tries to circle away but Black has him pinned against the cage.

Gray walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Black checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Black bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gray tries to keep at a distance but Black has taken the fight into the clinch.
Black pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Black misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gray.
Gray drops his hands momentarily and Black takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sylar Gray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Black gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Black tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Gray is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Black buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Black!! Black is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Gray throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sylar Gray!
During a confident post fight interview, Sylar Gray thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
