Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fernando Emerlong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Knight!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emerlong jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Knight slips a jab and a cross from Emerlong.
Emerlong misses with a shot to the body
and Knight counters with a three punch combo that has Emerlong backing up. Emerlong nods at Knight to acknowledge the strikes.
Emerlong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Knights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Michael Knight has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch combination from Knight misses.
Knight misses with a jab, cross combination.
Emerlong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knight manages to avoid it.
Knight scores with a hook.
A combination from Knight does no damage.
Emerlong lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Emerlong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Knight gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Emerlong lands a nice shot to the body.
Emerlong feints a jab promting Knight to slip. Emerlong then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Knight slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Knight misses with a two punch combination.
A combination from Emerlong does no damage.
Emerlong lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Knight sizes up Emerlong with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Emerlong closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
BOOM! Emerlong lands a beautiful left hook that drops Knight. Knight tries to recover but Emerlong is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Knight lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fernando Emerlong!
