Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barn Door (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baki Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barn Door!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Hanma misses.
Hanma stalks Door and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Door's face. Door staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Barn Door has been cut.
Door steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hanma.
Door avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Door showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hanma.
Hanma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Door.
Hanma misses with a two punch combination.

Hanma throws a series of punches but Door moves out of range.

and Door counters with a thumping low kick.
Door changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Baki Hanma is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Door slips under a jab.
Hanma will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Door ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Door counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Some wild striking there from Hanma.
Baki Hanma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Door fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Door defending well as Hanma loads up on a big left hand.

Hanma tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Door was well out of range. Poor timing from Hanma.

Door closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hanma did well to prevent Door getting side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hanma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Door moves away.
Door shoots in for a takedown but Hanma shows good takedown defense.

and Door counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hanma's knee momentarily.

Hanma throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Baki Hanma is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Door shoots in but no luck this time.
Hanma fails to land with a series of punches.
Hanma stuffs the takedown attempt from Door. Door gets slowly back to his feet.
Baki Hanma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barn Door.
Hanma will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Door bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hanma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Door on the ground.
Hanma dodges the ground and pound from Door.

Door landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Door is looking to take a break and control but Hanma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Door connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hanma some visible discomfort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Door creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hanma sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Door has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Door sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hanma is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hanma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Door shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hanma napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Door postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hanma is not content to let Door control the position.
Hanma is pushing Door's head away, looking to escape. Door manages to hold on to the position though.
And that's the end of the fight!
Barn Door comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Door winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
