Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gancho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ador King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gancho Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ador King! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. King fails with the takedown. Santos keeps the fight on the outside. Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing. King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily. Gancho Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ador King. Santos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. King wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santos decides to return to a standing position. King closes the distance and clinches up with Santos, looking for a takedown. King pushes Santos against the cage but Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Santos. Santos tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Santos landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Santos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Santos working away. Santos working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Santos presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. King keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santos unloading with bombs! King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Santos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. King is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King taking shots to the head. King working to try and regain half guard.
Santos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Santos has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of King's face.
King squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
King wants to hold on but Santos pushes him away. Santos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Santos has hold of King's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and King manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The referee warns King that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Santos looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Santos lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Santos is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King tries to clinch but Santos moves away and Santos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard. Santos wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Santos advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gancho Santos dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Santos throws a lazy head kick and King counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Santos's guard now. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Santos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King stands up from Santos's guard - King perhaps looking for a knockout. Santos clinches with his opponent.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. King goes for a takedown attempt but Santos pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily. Santos misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
That's one minute gone in the round. King misses with a takedown and Santos counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Gancho Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ador King. King is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Santos jumps guard but King turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Santos prevents the takedown attempt.

King is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Santos can't fight it off and eventually King manages to take the fight to the floor. Santos looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gancho Santos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Santos managing to control the position. Santos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for King!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos avoids the attempt from King to control. King in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Santos lands with some vicious ground and pound - can King hang on? King tries to lock up and control but Santos gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Santos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos landing shots from mount. King is just holding on here. Santos manages to take his back.
Santos is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. King is defending well though. Santos let's go of the attempt for now. King is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Santos.
Santos gets his hands free as King looks to control. Santos is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Santos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos avoiding King 's attempts to control his hands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santos tries to keep control of the position but King is staying busy. King can't escape the position.
King is covering up but some of the strikes from Santos are getting through and doing damage.
Santos is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at King. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santos is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but King has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. King is trying to get back to his feet but Santos has full control of the position and if anything, King has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gancho Santos dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Santos has a takedown stuffed. Santos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Santos. Santos fails with the takedown. A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Santos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Santos controls from within his opponent's guard. Santos pushes down on King's leg and manages to get into half guard. King tries to roll over but Santos keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks King with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Santos stands up and beckons King to join him on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from King is defended easily by Santos. Santos gets in close and instigates a clinch. King stalling the fight.

Santos works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! King clinches. King fails to pull guard.
Gancho Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ador King. Santos wants to break free but King has control.
King stops a takedown attempt from Santos.
King slows down the pace here.
Santos blocks an uppercut.
King has had enough of the clinch but Santos keeps him there for the moment. King jumps guard and drags Santos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos controlling from the top position. King wants to stand up but Santos is controlling him. Santos tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard. Santos gets to his feet - King follows without any prompting. King looking to score a takedown here. Santos is defending well but King drives through and ends up in Santos's guard. Santos tries to land a sweep but no joy. Santos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. King wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King won't allow Santos to sweep him here. King postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Santos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. King defends it nicely. King will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santos tries a head kick but it misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No luck for Santos with that takedown attempt. Ador King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gancho Santos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. King misses with a straight left.
And that's the end of the fight! Gancho Santos showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Santos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
