Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristijan Kljajic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rodrigo Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kristijan Kljajic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Gracie! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kljajic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kljajic lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kljajic wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Kljajic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kljajic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kljajic frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kljajic tries to control but Gracie wriggling away. Kljajic could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Kljajic cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Gracie is desperately trying to improve his position but Kljajic has a good base and remains in mount. Kljajic goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gracie turns into him and now he's in Kljajic's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie slips nicely into half guard. Gracie is trying to control. Kljajic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kljajic is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Kljajic is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kljajic is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kljajic's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kljajic duly obliges. The fight stays on the outside here - Kljajic looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gracie shoots in and bounces Kljajic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kljajic's guard. Kljajic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kljajic won't allow Gracie to pass to mount. Gracie is trying to control. Kljajic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kljajic is looking to improve his position.
