Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Pinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nurjan Nurjas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinha comes to the cage accompanied by Bate Pesadão ( Pregador Luo ). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurjas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nurjas throws a front kick that sends Pinha stumbling back into the cage.

Nurjas shoots in for a takedown but Pinha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pinha shoots for a double leg takedown but Nurjas sprawls well. He's pushed Pinha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nurjas leaves Pinha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pinha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nurjas but Nurjas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nurjas walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pinha checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nurjas has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nurjas there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pinha shoots in but Nurjas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nurjas tries to clinch up but Pinha circles away and keeps his distance.

Pinha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nurjas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pinha somewhat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nurjas has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pinha after a bit of a struggle.

Nurjas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pinha is looking to escape.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pinha sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Pinha tries to kick Nurjas off but Nurjas keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Pinha wants to control but Nurjas passes into side.
Pinha is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Nurjas off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pinha throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Pinha has the hooks in. Nurjas is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Pinha has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Nurjas has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Pinha is not going to allow Nurjas to sit and survive in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinha controls the action.

Pinha is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Nurjas is defending well though. Pinha let's go of the attempt for now.

I would just about give that final round to Nurjan Nurjas.
I think Nurjas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
