Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cice Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shigeo Miyato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shigeo Miyato told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyato scores with a takedown into Salace's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miyato slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Salace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miyato doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miyato manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Miyato avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Salace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miyato doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miyato manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Miyato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Salace is refusing to be controlled, as Miyato sits in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miyato in particular looking to stall.
Salace manages to get to full guard.
Miyato trying to control but Salace is working from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Shigeo Miyato wasn't active enough on the ground.
Salace scores a takedown into full mount!
Salace with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Salace has hold of Miyato's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miyato manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Salace looking to ground and pound but Miyato is blocking nicely.
Miyato tries to reverse the position but Salace maintains control.
Salace has control of Miyato's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miyato regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Miyato tries to hold on but Salace postures up.
Salace lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Miyato hang on?

Salace is landing with some decent strikes but Miyato is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Salace throwing strikes here but Miyato is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Salace misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Miyato tries to hold on but Salace postures up.

Salace pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Salace has isolated one of Miyato's arms. Miyato looking to fight him off but Salace twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Cice Salace thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
