Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samir Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Webb's choice of entrance music: Party Rock Anthem. Ash Webb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Cruz.
Webb tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cruz is able to avoid easily.
Cruz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Webb was covering up waiting for the punch and Cruz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cruz stops Webb from standing up.
Webb is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Cruz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Webb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cruz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cruz is looking to work some ground and pound but Webb has wrist control.
Cruz trying to stand up but can't free himself from Webb's guard.
Cruz wants to control from the top but Webb keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Samir Cruz just wasn't active enough.
Cruz with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cruz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Webb is rocked!
It looks like Ash Webb has been cut.
Webb takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Webb is still on wobbly legs! Can Cruz finish him?
Cruz lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Webb goes down and covers up as Cruz starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samir Cruz!
