Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Kafka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Tebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kafka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Haters Gonna Hate. Tebow has chosen God's Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franz Kafka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tim Tebow!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tebow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kafka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kafka lands a head shot.
A head kick by Kafka misses
and Tebow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tebow swinging wildly here.
Tebow slips under a jab from Kafka.
Kafka misses with a low kick.
Kafka dodges the punch combination from Tebow.
A jab from Kafka misses.
Kafka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tebow lands a head shot.
Franz Kafka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kafka scores with the left hand. Tebow knows he should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kafka tries to sprawl but Tebow drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tebow is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kafka is looking to control Tebow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kafka avoid being mounted?
Kafka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tebow trying to control from half guard but Kafka is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kafka tries to get to full guard but Tebow has control of the leg.
Tebow is trying to control. Kafka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tim Tebow was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Tebow ducks under a wild hook from Kafka.
Tebow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kafka was well out of range. Poor timing from Tebow.
A jab lands there for Tebow.
Kafka fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tebow on the side of the head.
Tebow avoids the body shot from Kafka.
Kafka works Tebow's body with a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kafka keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kafka tries a low kick but Tebow avoids it.
Tebow misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tebow scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Tebow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kafka throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Kafka has Tebow up against the cage in a clinch.
Tebow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kafka backwards.
Kafka throws a head punch that misses.
Tebow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kafka with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tebow wants to stall.
Tebow tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Tebow scores with a nice hook to the head.
Tebow lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kafka lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kafka takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kafka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tebow throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kafka throws a jab when Tebow was well out of range.
Kafka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tebow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tebow slips a straight right by Kafka.
Tebow shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kafka eats them both and turns towards Tebow to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kafka lands a two punch combo.
Kafka cracks Tebow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


Tebow is rocked!
Tebow slips under a jab.
Tebow is still on wobbly legs! Can Kafka finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tebow walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Tebow limp body while Kafka jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franz Kafka!
Franz Kafka got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
