Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Risto Korpisuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miksu Rupunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Korpisuo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eläkeläiset - Humpparaakki. Rupunen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Risto Korpisuo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Miksu Rupunen! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Rupunen.
Rupunen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Korpisuo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Korpisuo wants it to stay on the feet. Korpisuo tests Rupunen's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rupunen throws a one two combo.
Rupunen connects with a body shot that sends Korpisuo's belly button to the back. Rupunen misses with a combination
and Korpisuo counters with a lovely shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Korpisuo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rupunen. A slow jab from Rupunen misses its intended target. Rupunen stuns Korpisuo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Korpisuo throws a series of punches but Rupunen avoids them all with ease. Korpisuo moves in looking to clinch but Rupunen pushes him off. Korpisuo thuds a left hand into Rupunen's body. Rupunen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Korpisuo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Rupunen fails with a takedown attempt. A punch combination from Rupunen misses. Korpisuo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Korpisuo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rupunen looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A decent looking cross lands there for Korpisuo. Korpisuo tries to bum rush Rupunen with a series of wild strikes but Rupunen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Risto Korpisuo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good standup being displayed there by Korpisuo as he connects with a hook.
Rupunen is rocked! No luck for Rupunen with that takedown attempt. Rupunen is still on wobbly legs! Can Korpisuo finish him? Rupunen blocks a head kick by Korpisuo.
Rupunen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Korpisuo but Korpisuo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rupunen seems to have recovered his senses. Rupunen throws a nice looking combination but Korpisuo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Korpisuo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rupunen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rupunen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Korpisuo counters with a left hand that sends Rupunen to the canvas! Korpisuo postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Korpisuo wants to pass the guard but Rupunen is keeping the position. Korpisuo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korpisuo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rupunen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rupunen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Korpisuo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Korpisuo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Korpisuo trying to control the position from guard on top but Rupunen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rupunen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Korpisuo controls from within his opponent's guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Korpisuo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Korpisuo stopping the sweep attempt from Rupunen. Korpisuo wants to control from the top but Rupunen keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rupunen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rupunen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Rupunen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rupunen managing to block the knees to the body from Korpisuo.
Rupunen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Korpisuo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Korpisuo misses with a knee strike.

Korpisuo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Korpisuo tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Rupunen misses with a short punch on the inside. Korpisuo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Korpisuo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rupunen is defending well for now. Korpisuo with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Rupunen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Korpisuo scores with a nice right hand.
Rupunen jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rupunen misses with the combination.
Rupunen shoots in but no luck this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Korpisuo wants to clinch up but Rupunen keeps it at a distance. Rupunen throws a right and a left that both miss. Rupunen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Korpisuo as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Risto Korpisuo dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Korpisuo tries to land a front kick but Rupunen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Korpisuo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rupunen shoots in but Korpisuo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rupunen scores with a one two! Korpisuo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Rupunen shoots for a takedown but Korpisuo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Risto Korpisuo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korpisuo scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Korpisuo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rupunen, pushing him back against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Korpisuo landing knees to the body.
Korpisuo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rupunen lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Korpisuo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Korpisuo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rupunen.
Oooh a lovely combination from Korpisuo sends Rupunen down but not out. Korpisuo dives into side control looking to finish. Rupunen is breathing heavily. Korpisuo trying to control the position but Rupunen is working away. Korpisuo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rupunen some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korpisuo lands some shots froms side control. Korpisuo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rupunen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Korpisuo but great work by Rupunen. Rupunen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Korpisuo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Korpisuo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Korpisuo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Korpisuo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Korpisuo seems to be looking for submissions.

Rupunen taking some punishment here, with Korpisuo in his half guard. Still in half guard, Korpisuo seems content to control. Korpisuo wants to take a breather but Rupunen is having none of it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Korpisuo is looking for a kimura but Rupunen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Korpisuo to get the leverage. Korpisuo is keen to just control but Rupunen is a slippery customer. Korpisuo moves into full mount! Rupunen won't be happy about that! Risto Korpisuo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Korpisuo breaks from Rupunen's wrist control and lands an elbow. Rupunen tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rupunen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rupunen wants to hold on but Korpisuo pushes him away. Korpisuo lands with some strikes. Rupunen tries to lock up and control but Korpisuo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rupunen is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korpisuo wants to control the pace but Rupunen is squirming around nicely. Korpisuo raining down hammerfists from mount. Korpisuo cracks Rupunen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Korpisuo postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rupunen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rupunen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Risto Korpisuo! Risto Korpisuo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
