Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cees Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smash Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor) . Machine comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In The Morning kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Overeem clinches up against the cage.
Overeem tries to work over Machine's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Overeem lands a damaging elbow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight stays on the outside here - Overeem looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Overeem feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Machines jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Overeem is looking to clinch but Machine is avoiding it.
Overeem misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Machine counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Overeem fails with an attempt to clinch.

Overeem instigates a clinch.

Overeem misses with a knee to the head.

Overeem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch but Machine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Overeem lands a jab to the nose.

Overeem drops Machine with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Machine looks back up at him and smiles so Overeem waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Overeem misses with a hook. Machine ducked under it nicely.
Machine walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Machine limp body while Overeem jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
