Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quintan Hach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasily Mahkno ! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hach rushes Mahkno and presses him up against the cage. Mahkno ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mahkno no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mahkno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mahkno wants to sweep but no luck. Hach looking to pass the guard. Hach stopping the sweep attempt from Mahkno . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mahkno holds on and takes a little breather. Hach looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hach wants to control from the top but Mahkno keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mahkno showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hach.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hach looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mahkno fails with a takedown attempt. Hach fails in his attempt to clinch. Hach lands a nice hook to Mahkno 's body. Mahkno takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Quintan Hach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hach slow jab from Mahkno misses its intended target. Mahkno takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Quintan Hach is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A solid leg kick lands there for Hach.
Hach throws a right hand that Mahkno ducks under and follows up with a left that Mahkno also avoids with ease. Hach throws a series of punches but Mahkno avoids them all with ease. Nice cross by Hach. Mahkno stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hach. Hach jabs at Mahkno 's body. Hach connects with the punch. Hach tries to clinch there but Mahkno circles away.

Hach is looking to slow Mahkno down with leg kicks. Mahkno slips a jab from Hach. Hach tries to clinch but Mahkno moves out of range. Mahkno gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Hach escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mahkno shoots in but no luck this time. Hach rushes Mahkno and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Still in the clinch, Hach scores with a nice short uppercut. Hach misses with a knee strike.

Mahkno throws an overhand right that lands on Hach's shoulder, as Hach tries to avoid the shot. Hach lands a two punch combo.
Hach drives through and clinches with Mahkno against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hach cracks Mahkno with a nice body shot. Hach stalling.
A shot in the inside from Hach. Mahkno takes a shot to the head. Mahkno breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hach will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hach tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mahkno swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mahkno circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mahkno tries to move into range but Hach moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hach keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Quintan Hach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasily Mahkno . Mahkno shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hach as he jumps to the side. Hach throws a nice looking combination but Mahkno bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice uppercut lands for Hach. That snapped Mahkno 's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quintan Hach dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A right-left combo lands from Hach. Mahkno slips a jab and a cross from Hach.
Hach moves in looking to clinch but Mahkno pushes him off. Mahkno takes a jab right on the kisser.
Mahkno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hach swivels and escapes. Hach displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Hach throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mahkno on the side of the head. Hach pushes Mahkno up against the cage in a clinch. Mahkno on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hach working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hach can't find room to land a body shot as Mahkno controls the action.
Hach lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mahkno backwards. Hach works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Mahkno wants to break free but Hach has control.

Mahkno is working for takedown but Hach is calmly controlling the position for now. Quintan Hach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasily Mahkno . Mahkno is breathing heavily. Hach leaning against his opponent.
Hach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hach throws a right and a left that both miss. Mahkno takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mahkno shoots for a double leg takedown but Hach sprawls well. He's pushed Mahkno 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mahkno checks a low kick from Hach. Hach throws a right and a left that both miss. Hach throws a right and a left that both miss. Hach tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hach stalks Mahkno and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mahkno 's face. Mahkno staggers backwards, shaken. Mahkno shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hach as he jumps to the side. Hach fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mahkno checks it well. Hach's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hach duly obliges. Hach swinging wilding here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Mahkno or perhaps it was just good defense by Hach which made him look bad. Mahkno takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Hach darts in and clinches Mahkno up against the cage. Hach digs a right hand into Mahkno 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mahkno 's gas tank. Hach breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mahkno misses with the body kick and Hach counters with a series of strikes. Mahkno will be more careful next time no doubt. Mahkno lands a head kick. Hach smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Quintan Hach is winning the standup battle so far. Hach fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hach tries to clinch but Mahkno is having none of it. Nice cross by Hach. Hach throws a right and a left that both miss. Hach tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mahkno throws a push kick but Hach slaps the foot to one side. Hach throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hach wants to clinch up but Mahkno keeps it at a distance. Mahkno takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hach looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hach closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hach is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Mahkno wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hach has him pressed against the cage. Hach lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Mahkno decides to pull guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hach wants to stand but Mahkno has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mahkno trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hach stands and throws Mahkno 's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mahkno is looking for a sweep. Hach is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mahkno has escaped the position, nice work there. Hach tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hach has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quintan Hach dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Mahkno darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mahkno working over Hach with some ground and pound. Hach looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Mahkno scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Mahkno wants to take a breather but Hach is having none of it. Hach trying to hold on to Mahkno 's head to control him but Mahkno postures up.
Mahkno thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hach to regain full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mahkno is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mahkno seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mahkno lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mahkno sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hach's guard. Hach gets full guard. Mahkno trying to control the position from guard on top but Hach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hach avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mahkno trying to control but Hach is working from the bottom. Hach tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hach working for a triangle but Mahkno defends it easily.

Hach works on Mahkno 's body with a couple of short punches. Hach lands an uppercut. Hach unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mahkno lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hach is pressed up against the cage. Mahkno has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hach down to the mat. Hach avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Quintan Hach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasily Mahkno . Hach fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hach throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Hach scores with a four punch combination! Hach lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mahkno backs up against the cage.
Vasily Mahkno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hach fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mahkno checks it well. Hach throws a right hand that Mahkno ducks under and follows up with a left that Mahkno also avoids with ease. Mahkno swats away the attempt to clinch by Hach. Hach scores with a punch to the head. Hach throws a quick inside leg kick. Mahkno on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hach keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hach throws a leg kick and Mahkno decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hach's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hach throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Mahkno lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hach preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Vasily Mahkno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hach has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
