Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov slips a jab and a cross from Parks.
Parks tries to bum rush Kozlov with a series of wild strikes but Kozlov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Parks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kozlov lands a body shot.
Kozlov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parks is fending him off so far but Kozlov persists. Nope, Parks circles away and we're back to standing.
Parks fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kozlov shoots in for a takedown but Parks shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kozlov shoots in for a double leg but Parks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ray Parks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Kozlov.
Parks looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kozlov wants to stand but Parks is controlling the position.
Kozlov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parks's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kozlov wants to pass the guard but Parks is keeping the position.

Kozlov is looking to stand up but Parks won't let him.
Parks keeping moving, preventing Kozlov from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Kozlov.
Parks lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kozlov backs up against the cage.
Kozlov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Parks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kozlov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Parks shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Parks showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kozlov wants to control but Parks is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kozlov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Parks wants to stand up but Kozlov is controlling the position.
Kozlov is trying to control but can't.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Parks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kozlov on the ground.

It looks like Parks is going to stand back up.
Kozlov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Parks.
Kozlov manages to get to full guard.
Kozlov is looking to sinch up a triangle. Parks throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kozlov's body to avoid the submission. Kozlov has instead reached around Parks's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kozlov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jack Kozlov!
Jack Kozlov opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
