And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Rodriguez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rodriguez misses with the combination.
Rodriguez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed right hand from Rodriguez misses the target.
Rodriguez scores with a nice strike.
Rodriguez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rodriguez swivels and escapes.
Lee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A good leg kick by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rodriguez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lee has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Rodriguez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A low kick from Lee misses
and Rodriguez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee looks for a takedown but Rodriguez sprawls well.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Rodriguez.
Lee has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cody Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rodriguez.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Lee throws a combination that misses
and Rodriguez counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Lee out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Rodriguez is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
