Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Lindh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honey's entrance music is Cruising in Miami by Bass 305. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindh missing with a left hand there. Honey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lindh throws a jab but it's blocked by Honey.
Lindh misses with a head kick.
Honey looks to land a right hand but Lindh moved out of range.
Lindh scores with a jab. Honey acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Honey is looking to clinch.
Lindh wants to clinch
and Honey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Peter Lindh has been cut.
Lindh tries to clinch there but Honey circles away.
Lindh misses with an attempted mid kick.
Honey lands an overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Honey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Honey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lindh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Check out the look on Honey's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Honey wants to pass to mount but Lindh is defending the position.
Lindh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Honey is working away from the top position though.

Honey is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lindh is surviving well by controlling Honey's body position as best he can.
Lindh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Honey in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That has opened up Peter Lindh's cut even more.
Honey has control of Lindh's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lindh regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Lindh is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindh really wants to buck Honey off and get back to his feet.
Lindh is squirming around, avoiding Honey's attempts to control the action.

Lindh sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Lindh tries to get to full guard but Honey has control of the leg.

Honey moves nicely into side control.
Lindh is pushing Honey's head away, looking to escape. Honey manages to hold on to the position though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Honey thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Honey throws a combination. Lindh tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Honey.
Lindh throws a hook but Honey avoids it easily.
Lindh is looking to clinch.
Honey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lindh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Honey somewhat.
Hugh Honey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Honey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lindh takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lindh jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Honey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lindh is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big left from Honey misses.
Lindh throws a lazy right hand but Honey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice defenses there by Honey.
Lindh misses with a hook.

Lindh lands with a hook. Honey tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lindh misses with a wild body shot.
Lindh throws a nice outside leg kick.
Peter Lindh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lindh throws a jab but it's blocked by Honey.
Lindh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Honey.
Honey scores with a shoulder strike.
Peter Lindh's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Lindh lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lindh is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Honey is defending well for now.
Honey works on Lindh's body with a couple of short punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lindh has a couple of punches blocked by Honey.

Honey digs a right hand into Lindh's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lindh's gas tank.
Honey blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lindh tries to land knees in the clinch but Honey avoids the damage to the body.
Lindh is breathing heavily.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lindh.
Honey lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Peter Lindh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
