Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Dotson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hearns might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Eyed Bruiser. Dotson has chosen Motor Mouth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearns tries to clinch
and Dotson counters with a nice uppercut.
Hearns closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dotson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hearns is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dotson misses with a looping right.
Hearns slips under a jab from Dotson.
Dotson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Thomas Hearns has been cut.

and Dotson counters with a thumping low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hearns looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hearns throws a series of punches but Dotson avoids them all with ease.

and Dotson scores with a counter punch that sends Hearns to the canvas! Dotson smells blood - he's punishing Hearns with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hearns has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
