Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beck Bom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Another Victory. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bom chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lawson can pounce on him.
Lawson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lawson tries to sprawl but Bom drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lawson is trying is best to control the position here.

Lawson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lawson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
