Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nam Phan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neno Pejovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nam Phan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Neno Pejovsky!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phan misses with a low kick as Pejovsky jumps back.
Both fighters circling a little - Pejovsky finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Phan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crunch! Pejovsky slams his shin into Phan's torso.
Phan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pejovsky scoring well with a low kick there.
Phan is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pejovsky buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pejovsky connects with a leg kick. Phan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pejovsky lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Nam Phan has been cut.
Phan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pejovsky displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Pejovsky throws a head kick but Phan moves out of range.
Pejovsky scores with a jab to the body.
Phan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pejovsky.
Phan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


Nam Phan's cut is getting worse.
Pejovsky buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Phan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pejovsky lands with a big left! Phan is wobbled badly! Pejovsky comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Phan to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Neno Pejovsky!
Neno Pejovsky tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
