Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Macias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrews's entrance music is something to be proud of. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Macias.

It looks like Pedro Macias has been cut.
Andrews misses with a jab, cross combination.

Andrews escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Macias gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Andrews has hold of Macias's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Macias manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Andrews will probably get the nod.

Andrews tries to score a power double leg takedown but Macias sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andrews somewhat.

Andrews throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Macias's waist but Macias gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Andrews off to one side.

Macias shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andrews napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Andrews is trying to maintain a safe position but Macias gets an underhook and turns Andrews into the cage.

Macias gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Macias postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Macias really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andrews. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
