Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cop moves in looking to clinch but DeMann pushes him off.
DeMann looks to clinch
and Cop counters with a stiff right hand.
DeMann blocks a head kick by Cop.
Cop will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
DeMann moves away from the strike by Cop.
DeMann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cop.

DeMann fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cop throws a wild body kick that DeMann sees coming a mile off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cop looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cop lands a nice looking kick to the body. DeMann takes a step back to recover.
DeMann blocks the body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cop.
DeMann looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cop is fending him off so far but DeMann persists. Nope, Cop circles away and we're back to standing.
Good exchange - Cop coming out on top.

Cop throws a sloppy head kick and DeMann moves out of range easily.

and Cop counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps DeMann thinking.
DeMann bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

DeMann misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Schmoe Cop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugh DeMann .
Cop throws out a loose jab but DeMann uses good head movement to avoid it.

DeMann displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cop throws out the jab.

Cop is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst DeMann is controlling him.
DeMann working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cop's head.

Cop throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Cop looking for submissions from the bottom but instead DeMann passes into half guard.
DeMann moves nicely into side control.
DeMann is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cop looks calm but he's in trouble here. DeMann gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cop is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! DeMann lets go of the hold and Cop can pop his arm back in it's socket.
