The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlov throws a jab when JinJu was well out of range.
JinJu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Pavlov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

JinJu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pavlov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. JinJu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

JinJu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pavlov's guard.

JinJu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
JinJu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pavlov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pavlov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pavlov!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pavlov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits JinJus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pavlov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bin JinJu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
