The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov throws a hook but Foote blocks it.
Ivanov tries to close the distance and clinch but Foote swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ivanov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ivanov doesn't manage to clinch there - Foote circles away.
Ivanov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ivanov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ivanov misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Foote manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Ivanov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Foote pushes a forearm under Ivanov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ivanov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
