Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uteer scores with a takedown into Bedorf's guard.
Bedorf is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Uteer is controlling him.
Bedorf has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Uteer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Uteer moves out of range as Bedorf strikes.
Bedorf throws a lazy uppercut
and Uteer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bedorf's guard now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bedorf uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A slow jab from Bedorf misses its intended target.
Bedorf misses with an uppercut. Uteer saw that one coming.
Uteer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Brandon Uteer has been cut.
Uteer forces Bedorf back against the cage and clinches.
Uteer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bedorf backwards.

Uteer is looking for a takedown.
Bedorf is trying to force a seperation but Uteer has the dominant position.
Uteer can't get the takedown.
Uteer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Uteer ducks right into an uppercut from Bedorf.
Uteer fails to land with a series of punches.
Bedorf fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Uteer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Uteer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bedorf but Bedorf pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Uteer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Uteer counters with a left and a right that stings Bedorf.
Uteer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bedorf.
Bedorf lands a glancing blow to the side of Uteer's head.
Bedorf lunges at Uteer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Uteer's hand.
Brandon Uteer's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Uteer tries to clinch up but Bedorf circles away and keeps his distance.
Bedorf throws a jab when Uteer was well out of range.
Bedorf throws a hook but Uteer avoids it easily.
Uteer staying out of range there.
Uteer fails in his attempt to clinch.

Uteer feints and as Bedorf raises his hands in defense, Uteer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bedorf pushes Uteer off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Bedorf might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bedorf looks to land a left hand but Uteer moved out of range nicely.

Uteer shoots in for a takedown but Bedorf shows good takedown defense.
Bedorf connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Uteer momentarily.

Uteer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
