The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirki� misses with a lunging right hand
and Gutzeit counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gutzeit trying to control but Sirki� is working from the bottom.
Gutzeit wants to pass the guard but Sirki� is keeping the position.
Gutzeit postures up in Sirki�'s guard and throws a big left but Sirki� blocks it.

Gutzeit is desperately trying to improve his position but Sirki� has a good base and remains in mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee warns Gutzeit that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Gutzeit is looking to improve his position but Sirki� isn't that keen on the idea.
Gutzeit tries to lock up and control but Sirki� gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sirki� closes the distance and clinches.
Gutzeit has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sirki� after a bit of a struggle.

Sirki� prevents the takedown attempt.
Sirki� lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Gutzeit is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sirki� gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Niko Sirki� has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomek Gutzeit.
Sirki� lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Gutzeit is rocked!
Sirki� creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gutzeit's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gutzeit drops to his knees and Sirki� pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
