Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason comes to the cage accompanied by Square Dance. Speed has chosen Sucker Punch / Army Of Me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mike Mason is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Mason to counter with a crisp jab.
Speed closes the distance and pushes Mason back into the cage.
Mason scores with a nice hook to the head.
Speed taking a breather.
Speed swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mason wants to get back to striking at distance but Speed won't allow it.
Mason prevents a body shot from Speed.
Mason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Speed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mason.

Mason connects with a crisp jab.
Mason throws a lazy right hand but Speed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Speed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mason tries to avoid it but Speed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mason to the ground. Mason escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mike Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mason looks to land a combination but Speed avoids it well.

Mason lunges at Speed with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Speed's hand.

Mason on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mason tries to get out of the position.
