Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Esa Saksinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Frulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Esa Saksinen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Frulani! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saksinen wants to clinch. Saksinen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Saksinen instigates a clinch. Saksinen tries to stall but Frulani uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Frulani goes for a takedown attempt but Saksinen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

He's pushed Frulani's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Saksinen lands a high kick!
A head kick by Saksinen misses and Frulani counters with a one-two to the body. Frulani will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Saksinen tries to clinch there but Frulani circles away.
Crunch! Frulani slams his shin into Saksinen's torso. Frulani closes the distance and clinches up with Saksinen, looking for a takedown. Frulani pushes Saksinen against the cage but Saksinen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Frulani counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frulani wants to pass the guard but Saksinen is keeping the position. Frulani is looking to work some ground and pound but Saksinen has wrist control. Frulani trying to control but Saksinen is working from the bottom. Frulani has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Frulani shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saksinen but Saksinen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Saksinen drives through and clinches with Frulani against the cage.

and Frulani counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Saksinen! Frulani wants to take Saksinen's back but he can't do it this time. Frulani has control of Saksinen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Saksinen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Frulani throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Saksinen because Frulani loaded up on that one. Saksinen is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Saksinen is wriggling around trying to escape.

Felipe Frulani showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Nice takedown defense from Saksinen. No joy for Frulani on that attempt. Frulani changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saksinen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Saksinen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saksinen tries to get out of the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
