The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Postlethwaite sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Postlethwaite enables Shamrock to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Postlethwaite manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Postlethwaite is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Shamrock frees his head nicely. Oh but Postlethwaite has switched to an armbar! Shamrock is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
