Top drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Top missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Top wants to pass the guard but Fernandez is keeping the position.
Top trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fernandez preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Top throws an elbow that misses. Fernandez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Top's guard. Nice move by Fernandez!
