Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akio Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Takada might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - All Nightmare Long. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akio Takada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Dean! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dean looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Takada working for submissions but it's allowed Dean to get to half guard.
Takada is trying to control but can't.
Takada has one foot on Dean's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Takada doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dean counters with a single leg into guard. Takada didn't expect that. Dean wants to pass the guard but Takada is keeping the position. Takada working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Dean has passed into half guard!
Still in half guard, Dean seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. I looks like Dean might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Takada is trying to get back to full guard. Takada is working hard here to advance position. Takada wants to stand back up but Dean manages to pass into side control.
Takada is breathing heavily. Takada tries to get back to half guard but can't. Takada is letting Dean control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Takada is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dean slows the pace down. Dean lands a nice forearm strike. Takada is trying to control Dean's posture but Dean avoids it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dean moves into range and connects with a jab. Dean tries to clinch but Takada is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dean misses with a wild combination.
Takada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Takada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dean can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dean preventing the sweep. Dean trying to stand up but can't free himself from Takada's guard. Takada is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takada is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Dean avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Takada is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Takada lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dean! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Dean dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Takada misses with a takedown attempt and Dean counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dean scores with a crisp jab that stopped Takada in his tracks. Takada gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dean counters with a shoot takedown. Takada fights it but they end up in guard. Takada keeping full guard, as Dean tries to pass. Takada looking for a guillotine here but Dean defends easily.
Takada can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dean controls the pace. Dean won't allow Takada to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takada working for submissions but it's allowed Dean to get to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Takada makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Takada. Dean must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dean trying to control the position from guard on top but Takada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Takada is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dean controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Takada had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dean is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Takada Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dean's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takada is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dean knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dean for a finish. Takada working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Dean is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Takada has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Dean taps out!
