Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Wilshere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay de Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Wilshere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay de Borg!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from de Borg does no damage.

de Borg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
de Borg throwing strikes but Wilshere manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
de Borg is looking to reverse the position.
de Borg gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
de Borg wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Wilshere has the hooks in. de Borg is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Good control from Wilshere.
Wilshere is landing with strikes from the back.
de Borg tries to break free.
Wilshere throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting de Borg!

Wilshere lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
de Borg rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
de Borg flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
de Borg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wilshere passes de Borg's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
de Borg is trying to get back to full guard.

Wilshere decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Wilshere throws a sloppy head kick and de Borg moves out of range easily.
Wilshere looks for the body kick but de Borg saw that one coming.

de Borg gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
de Borg looks gassed!
Wilshere lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
de Borg wants to sweep here but Wilshere controlling him for the moment.

de Borg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
de Borg keeping moving, preventing Wilshere from controlling successfully.
Wilshere passes into half guard.
Wilshere performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
de Borg keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilshere decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
de Borg swats away the attempt to clinch by Wilshere.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
de Borg is working Wilshere over against the cage.
de Borg tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wilshere smiles and moves away.
de Borg shoots for a takedown but Wilshere saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
de Borg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilshere paws at him with a jab and circles away.
de Borg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

de Borg drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jack Wilshere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay de Borg.

de Borg tightens his grip and picks Wilshere up, before dumping him to the ground. Wilshere manages to land in guard.

de Borg is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wilshere has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. de Borg is looking to defend but Wilshere has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for de Borg! Wilshere pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, de Borg taps out and this one is all over!
