Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whitey Marsh !
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee closes the distance and clinches.
Marsh looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lee stalls.
Marsh tries to circle away but Lee has him pinned against the cage.
Lee lands a knee to the head.
Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Marsh uses from the top position.
Marsh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marsh on the ground.
Lee throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Marsh postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Marsh , into his guard.
Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lee stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Marsh circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Whitey Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt.
Marsh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lee controlling the position.
Lee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Marsh defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marsh 's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee is posturing up here but Marsh has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lee tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lee has to tap! Slick submission there by Marsh !
