Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy MacKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacKenzie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kettel - My Dogan . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacKenzie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Murphy did well to prevent MacKenzie getting side control. MacKenzie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

MacKenzie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murphy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Murphy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Murphy manages to reverse the position and now he's in MacKenzie's guard. Nice work there by Murphy.

A nice right hand lands inside from MacKenzie. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! MacKenzie tries to break the clinch but Murphy is controlling the position. Murphy pushes MacKenzie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Murphy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Murphy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but MacKenzie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Charlie Murphy dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tommy MacKenzie's cut. That's time! Murphy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
MacKenzie shoots for a double leg takedown but Murphy sprawls well. He's pushed MacKenzie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. MacKenzie keeps the fight on the outside. Murphy slips a jab from MacKenzie. MacKenzie lands a slapping body shot.

MacKenzie has hold of one of Murphy's legs. Murphy is fighting the takedown attempt but MacKenzie gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. MacKenzie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Murphy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of MacKenzie, into his guard. MacKenzie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Murphy passes into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Murphy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. MacKenzie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murphy. MacKenzie lands a jab to Murphy's midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Murphy lands a nice looking body shot.

Charlie Murphy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. MacKenzie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Murphy showed his dominance in that final round. I think Murphy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
