Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jalil Mahmoudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahmoudi has chosen CAUTION!!! VULGAR AS F^CK as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Mahmoudi throws the left hand but Caine avoids the punch easily.
Mahmoudi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mahmoudi throws out a loose jab but Caine uses good head movement to avoid it.
A swing and a miss from Mahmoudi.

Nice defenses there by Caine.
Mahmoudi throws a leg kick
and Caine holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Caine is pressed up against the cage. Mahmoudi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Caine down to the mat. Caine avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mahmoudi looks to throw the jab but Caine is out of range.

Caine fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mahmoudi manages to avoid it.

Mahmoudi is working for takedown but Caine is calmly controlling the position for now.
Caine has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mahmoudi regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Caine looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mahmoudi is defending well. Caine quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mahmoudi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Caine celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
