Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bjj Spar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henrik Andersen! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spar. Andersen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Spar is looking for a sweep. Andersen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Spar is defending against the submission attempts here by Andersen.

Spar actively working from the bottom here. Andersen wants to free his trapped foot but Spar is holding on for dear life with his legs. Andersen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spar keeps working. Spar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Andersen pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Spar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Spar. Spar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Spar has his foot on Andersen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andersen works his way back into a safe position though. Spar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Spar is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Andersen trying to control but Spar is working from the bottom. Andersen lands a couple of digs. Spar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Andersen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Andersen is in close to Spar's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Spar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andersen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Andersen wants to control from the top but Spar keeps moving. Andersen connects with a couple of short punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Andersen trying to control but Spar is working from the bottom. Andersen wants to pass the guard but Spar is keeping the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spar keeping moving, preventing Andersen from controlling successfully.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Henrik Andersen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Andersen drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bjj Spar will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Spar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Andersen swivels and escapes. Andersen feints and as Spar raises his hands in defense, Andersen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Andersen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andersen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Spar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Andersen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Spar is tightening it up a little... Andersen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Andersen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Andersen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Spar!
