Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Bergasmarchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mangetsu Hozuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bergasmarchi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pizzicato Five - Baby Love Child. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Bergasmarchi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mangetsu Hozuki! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hozuki tries to clinch up but Bergasmarchi circles away and keeps his distance. Hozuki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bergasmarchi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hozuki is looking to stand up but Bergasmarchi isn't so interested in that idea. Bergasmarchi trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hozuki manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Hozuki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bergasmarchi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hozuki trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bergasmarchi's guard. Bergasmarchi scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hozuki looks to clinch and Bergasmarchi counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee asks Bergasmarchi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bergasmarchi prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hozuki is looking to regain half guard here but Bergasmarchi keeps moving and retains side control. Hozuki is not content to let Bergasmarchi control the position. Bergasmarchi working the ground and pound but Hozuki is defending the strikes. Bergasmarchi trying to control the position but Hozuki is working away. Bergasmarchi swings around for an armbar but Hozuki sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bergasmarchi's guard. Hozuki wants to control from the top but Bergasmarchi keeps moving. Hozuki wants to get up but he can't break Bergasmarchi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bergasmarchi wants to get back to his feet but Hozuki is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bergasmarchi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hozuki looking to sit in guard and control but Bergasmarchi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hozuki working for a triangle but Bergasmarchi defends it easily.
Bergasmarchi forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bergasmarchi wants to control but Hozuki is keeping him busy. Hozuki trying to hold on to Bergasmarchi's head to control him but Bergasmarchi postures up.
Hozuki looking for a kimura from the bottom but Bergasmarchi passes into side control! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bergasmarchi swings around for an armbar but Hozuki sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bergasmarchi's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bergasmarchi working for a triangle but Hozuki defends it easily.
Hozuki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bergasmarchi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hozuki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hozuki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bergasmarchi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bergasmarchi as Hozuki tries to tie him up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bergasmarchi goes for a takedown attempt but Hozuki pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hozuki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hozuki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A looping hook to the body misses from Hozuki. Bergasmarchi does a little dance to reset his feet. Mangetsu Hozuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hozuki moves to clinch but Bergasmarchi breaks away so Bergasmarchi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eduardo Bergasmarchi dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hozuki thuds a left hand into Bergasmarchi's body. Bergasmarchi throws a jab when Hozuki was well out of range. Hozuki throws a series of punches but Bergasmarchi moves out of range. Hozuki closes the distance but Bergasmarchi moves to the side and Bergasmarchi counters with a shoot takedown. Hozuki fights it but they end up in guard. Eduardo Bergasmarchi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hozuki working for a triangle but Bergasmarchi defends it easily.
Bergasmarchi wants to pass the guard but Hozuki is keeping the position. Bergasmarchi works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bergasmarchi trying to pass the guard but Hozuki defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bergasmarchi works his way into side control. Hozuki prevents Bergasmarchi from moving into mount. Hozuki is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bergasmarchi working away. Bergasmarchi controls the position from side control. Bergasmarchi advances to mount. Bergasmarchi looking to finish with strikes here!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bergasmarchi has got one arm under Hozuki's chin. This could be trouble... Hozuki trying to control the other hand but Bergasmarchi gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Hozuki has tapped out! The fight is over!
