Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichiaro Sakazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Oshioke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakazuki feints and as Oshioke raises his hands in defense, Sakazuki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sakazuki gets to mount! Oshioke was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Sakazuki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Oshioke can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ichiaro Sakazuki has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Oshioke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sakazuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oshioke throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sakazuki gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sakazuki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Oshioke tries to get to full guard but Sakazuki has control of the leg.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sakazuki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Oshioke for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ichiaro Sakazuki just wasn't active enough.
Sakazuki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oshioke looks to move to half guard but instead Sakazuki has passed into mount! Damn!

Oshioke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ichiaro Sakazuki dominated that round.

Sakazuki pulls Oshioke in close to his closed guard and prevents Oshioke from doing any damage or advancing position.
Ichiaro Sakazuki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sakazuki has a closed guard, preventing Oshioke from standing up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Oshioke gets caught napping as Sakazuki dives in and scores a takedown. Oshioke manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sakazuki passes Oshioke's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sakazuki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Oshioke with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
