Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean Loius Drukenmiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Wellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Loius Drukenmiller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Douglas Wellington! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drukenmiller misses the shot to the body. Drukenmiller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Douglas Wellington has been cut. Drukenmiller digs a good body shot into Wellington's ribs. Drukenmiller lands with a hook. Wellington tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Drukenmiller misses with a series of wild punches.
Wellington shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Drukenmiller is trying to defend but Wellington finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Drukenmiller is trying to stand back up but Wellington is controlling him
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wellington is looking to advance position but Drukenmiller won't allow it. Wellington is looking to take a break and control but Drukenmiller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wellington is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Wellington's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Douglas Wellington. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wellington is defended easily by Drukenmiller.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wellington shoots in looking for a takedown. Drukenmiller tries to sprawl out of it but Wellington keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drukenmiller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Drukenmiller misses the shot to the body. Drukenmiller clinches. Wellington fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Wellington is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Drukenmiller is defending well. Wellington is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Drukenmiller to keep the fight standing.

Wellington turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Wellington just content to control the position. Drukenmiller is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wellington has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wellington cracks Drukenmiller with a big right hand but Drukenmiller just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Wellington is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Wellington working the ground and pound but Drukenmiller is defending the strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drukenmiller wants to get back to his feet but Wellington drags him back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wellington changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drukenmiller tries to avoid it but Wellington manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drukenmiller to the ground. Drukenmiller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Drukenmiller throws a head kick but Wellington moves out of range.
Wellington walks into a left hand. Wellington on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wellington shoots in looking for a takedown but Drukenmiller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wellington's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wellington shoots in and drives through. Drukenmiller sprawls well. Jean Loius Drukenmiller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Wellington. Drukenmiller closes the distance and clinches. Wellington goes for a takedown attempt but Drukenmiller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

It's hard to tell if that hurt Wellington or not. Drukenmiller is trying to break the clinch but Wellington is controlling him. Wellington tries for a takedown but Drukenmiller manages to get underhooks.

Drukenmiller defends it nicely. Jean Loius Drukenmiller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drukenmiller closes the distance and clinches. Wellington jumps guard but Drukenmiller stands there with Wellington around his waist. Wellington gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Drukenmiller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Drukenmiller lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wellington backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drukenmiller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wellington takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Drukenmiller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wellington. Drukenmiller lands with a thumping leg kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drukenmiller lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Wellington is rocked!
That has opened up Douglas Wellington's cut even more. Drukenmiller scores with a hook to the body. Wellington takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Loius Drukenmiller dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Douglas Wellington's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Drukenmiller connects with a body shot. Drukenmiller throws a right and a left that both miss. Wellington fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wellington shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drukenmiller as he jumps to the side. Jean Loius Drukenmiller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Wellington. Wellington takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Drukenmiller thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wellington tries for a takedown but Drukenmiller circles away easily and Drukenmiller counters with a series of strikes. Wellington will be more careful next time no doubt. Drukenmiller throws a right and a left that Wellington avoids nicely. Wellington takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Drukenmiller throws a right and a left that both miss. A combination from Drukenmiller does no damage. Wellington moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wellington dives in and grabs Drukenmiller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Drukenmiller pushes down on Wellington's head and hops out. Drukenmiller lands the left hand. Drukenmiller tries to bum rush Wellington with a series of wild strikes but Wellington uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wellington has a takedown stuffed.

Drukenmiller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wellington counters with a shoot takedown. Drukenmiller fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wellington prevents Drukenmiller from getting back to his feet. Wellington stands up over Drukenmiller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Wellington controlling from the top position. Wellington wants to control from the top but Drukenmiller keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Drukenmiller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Drukenmiller misses with a body punch
and Wellington counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wellington postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wellington trying to control but Drukenmiller is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drukenmiller working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wellington. Douglas Wellington has got the better of the ground game so far.

Douglas Wellington has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Wellington closes the distance and clinches up with Drukenmiller, looking for a takedown. Wellington pushes Drukenmiller against the cage but Drukenmiller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jean Loius Drukenmiller is winning the standup battle so far. Wellington gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Drukenmiller counters with a left to the body. Drukenmiller cracks the inside of Wellington's front leg. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drukenmiller scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Poor timing from Drukenmiller.
