PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between frank mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mir comes to the cage accompanied by i get money. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie slow jab from mir misses its intended target.
mir avoids a punch combination nicely.
No luck for Zombie with that takedown attempt.

Zombie kicks off mir and gets to his feet.

Zombie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. mir looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zombie decides to stand up, so the ref orders mir to his feet.

mir is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

mir is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zombie is trying to control but can't.

mir wants to work for an arm triangle but Zombie is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Zombie kicks mir off and gets back to his feet.

Zombie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now mir is on top in guard.

Zombie postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have mir in real trouble here! The ref calls for mir to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
